Pipol Konek (Free Wi-Fi Access in Public Places Project) is nominated in the World Summit on Information Society (WSIS) Prizes 2018.
WSIS Prizes is an international recognition of individuals, governments, civil society, local, regional, international agencies, research institutions and private sector companies in their outstanding success to develop and implement strategies to maximize ICTs for societal development.
One of the Department of Information and Communication Technology flagship projects, the Pipol Konek has made great strides in connecting the unconnected, reaching the unserved and underserved. Since its inception two years ago, it has now established 1,038 live sites and still targeting to set up more sites all over the archipelago in the coming years.

2) Log in and/or create an account. If creating a new account, make sure to confirm your registration by following instructions forwarded to your email by wsis-stocktaking.
